Well, this was a very, very busy weekend in Twilight land. First things first – check out our Video section. I just added a ton of interviews and clips and you need to watch them all. When you’re done, come back here and read so much random stuff I have to put it all in one long post.
How many of you are strictly Twilight fans and how many love anything that has to do with vampires? I was planning on sticking with Twilight, but my best friend insisted I watch The Vampire Diaries. With the beauty of the Internet I was able to watch the entire season, commercial free over the weekend (still have the season finale – I’ll watch that tonight!) and I love it. I plan on reading the books and can’t wait for next season. So should I watch True Blood next? And how about Moonlight? E! Online has a quiz to find out “What’s Your Blood Type?” I just got my score – I actually need a “Hot-Blooded Werewolf.” I was thinking Stefan Salvatore. Who knew?
Fandango has a list of 20 things to do before seeing “Eclipse,” including reading The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner (check), watch Robert Pattinson (of course), read Stephenie Meyer’s website (ages ago) and re-watch “Twilight” and “New Moon” (weekend of the 26th).
Twilight Examiner has a nice, long interview with BooBoo Stewart who plays Seth Clearwater. Click here to read the whole thing. Like co-star Taylor Lautner, BooBoo had to pack on the muscle to play the part:
“Challenging was actually getting in better shape for the role for Seth. And I still go to the gym and I’m still keeping in shape. But I put on about, like, 10 or 15 pounds since then, from the filming; but my Mom’s a personal trainer. She really helped me get in better shape for the film. That’s the most challenging thing. And watching what you eat, at Kraft Services because the M&Ms looked really good.”
There are rumors circulating already that Robert Pattinson’s performance in “Water for Elephants” may be Oscar-worthy. And here’s a very amusing clip of Robert describing his favorite Twilight merchandise:
FearNET talked to producer Wyck Godfrey about what to expect in Breaking Dawn and the rumors that it might get an R-rating. He says that the movies will definitely be PG-13 due to all the young fans. As for the feather pillow biting fans are expecting, he jokes,
“We have feathers currently being grown on geese around the world so that we can steal them for our pillow-biting feather eruption!”
Here’s a quick Eclipse clip of the Cullens chasing Victoria:
And a long behind-the-scenes look:
I haven’t really seen any good photos from the convention, but there are some interviews in the aforementioned videos section.
Apparently, Stephenie Meyer wasn’t happy with any of the engagement rings that the Eclipse prop makers came up with, so she stepped in and designed it herself based on what she pictured as she wrote the book. Read more about that here.
This clip from Eclipse is awesome – first the funny… Edward asks Bella if Jacob ever wears a shirt. And then the hawtness… Bella and Edward make out for a few seconds:
And finally, some silly writer at Softpedia is saying that Summit is “Ruining ‘Eclipse’ with Too Much Promotion.” I strongly disagree. I’m thrilled to see every picture and every clip they throw at us. Only 15 days!!!
