Jamie Campbell Bower (now officially engaged to Harry Potter‘s Bonnie Wright) talked to Sugarscape about the Volturi in Breaking Dawn and said that “you get to see how screwed up we are. That was great fun to play, just screw about on set and do as much as possible and be theatrical. Well, [director] Bill Condon, he brings something wonderful and a sort of theatricalness to the whole film.” [sugarscape.com]

Edward Cat, Robsten and Lunch with Peter
August 16th, 2010
Behold, the Edward Cullen cat!
This is supposed to be Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart nuzzling in Montreal where she is filming On the Road. It’s definitely him and I supposed it could be her.
And the always charitable Peter Facinelli is auctioning off lunch with him to benefit The Onyx & Breezy Foundation, an animal welfare group. Bidding is already up to $7100! Click here to bid for a good cause.
P.S. Check out the photo galleries and video section – I just added a ton of good stuff.
P.P.S. Profiles are on hiatus this week – Wizarding World of Harry Potter, here I come!
Stolen, Kissed, Bitten
July 8th, 2010
A zealous R-Patz fan ran off with a life-sized cardboard cut-out but got caught on camera!
Robert Pattinson is currently the “most kissed” wax figure at Madame Tussaude’s in London. I hope they’ve got some instant hand sanitizer available.
Apparently, it’s now hip (do kids say “hip”?) for teen lovebirds to bite each other. Really.
The award to weirdest pre-fame job goes to Charlie Bewley – he was a stripper pole salesman. If you’re a Demetri fan, you can read more about him here.
Hollywood news report website TheWrap expects The Twilight Saga to be the most successful film franchise to date. You can read the whole thing here, but basically they’re saying that Twilight might beat out other series like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean because they were cheaper to make, therefore gross more money. Interesting.
Eclipse, Eclipse, Ashley and Xavier, Eclipse, Vampirism, Eclipse, Tattoos and Eclipse
July 1st, 2010
Eclipse broke the record for “widest release in Hollywood history with showings on over 4,416 screens”! More than New Moon. More than Sex and the City. More than Iron Man 2. Eclipse!
Eclipse broke the record for highest grossing midnight showing at over $30 million! More than New Moon. More than Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Eclipse!
Ashley Greene and Xavier Samuel look quite cute together at the Belgian premiere of Eclipse! Eclipse!
Jezebel has a very funny “Minute-By-Minute Analysis” of Eclipse with gems such as
12:58: The word “eclipse” came on the screen and a girl behind me yelled, “Yes!”
and
1:18: She gets on the back of Jacob’s motorcycle and there are murmurs from the girls behind me.
and
2:13: Edward and Bella are at his house. He has a bed now. She is trying to get him to have sex with her!!!
She is like, “I want you. You said I should have every human experience!”
He’s all: “It’s too dangerous.”
She says “Try! Just try.”
Read the whole thing here. Eclipse!
Clinical Vampirism and Porphyria are real medical conditions! Read all about it here. It’s gross. Eclipse!
This is funny too – “The 10 Scariest Things About Twilight: Eclipse“. Eclipse!
“The Top Twelve Awful Twilight Tattoos” – enough said. Eclipse!
I saw Eclipse last night and I loved it! My mom loved it and my friends loved it. The whole theater seemed to love it and Team Jacob was definitely quite vocal. I missed a few lines here and there when people were clapping and awwing and when the TODDLER seated next to us couldn’t keep his mouth shut. Who brings a toddler to a PG-13 movie about vampires and werewolves? Anyway, I need to see it again. I have another friend who couldn’t make it last night, so hopefully we’ll go soon. And I’ve got the whole Illustrated Movie Companion to read now. I was disappointed that there was no Harry Potter preview. No Paranormal Activity 2 preview either, but that’s just as well as it would have scared the bejeezus out of me. The movie was so great, it did not seem like it was two hours long. I could have happily watched more. Eclipse!
