On the Graham Norton show (promoting Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon), Robert Pattinson revealed that- prior to hitting it big- he used to pretend to be friends with Prince William. During his stay in Los Angeles, when asked what he was up to during his three years of unemployment he’d respond with, “I’ve been at RADA [Royal Academy for Dramatic Arts] with Prince William.”
Of course, we fell for it hook, line, and sinker: “People would think, ‘You’re English, I believe you!’” Wow, even before Robert Pattinson was “ROBERT PATTINSON”, we were falling for his charm and charisma!
