New Covers, Acceptance Speeches and That Jonas Boy Again

Don’t get too excited. These limited edition copies of The Twilight Saga with white covers aren’t going to be available in the US, but maybe you can find them on eBay. They’ll be for sale in the UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and India.

The white titles will only be published between October and Christmas 2010, replacing the usual black jackets. The titles will have crimson-edged pages and crimson back covers, with text confined to the spines.

Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas were seen together again! They must be getting married and she’s probably pregnant. I bet they went house-hunting after coffee. Or maybe Ashley is actually the secret Jonas sister. Or maybe they were kidnapped by aliens at the same time. Or maybe, just maybe, they’re friends and they had coffee.

R-Patz Had a Busy Weekend

Saturday night, Robert Pattinson tried to pull a hit and run when he backed into a car as he was leaving a party.

Then he got into it with a photographer.

Yesterday, he went to the movies to see Salt.

And this he had nothing to do with, but it cracks me up: British department store Marks & Spencer is coming out with a line of underwear for men.

Dubbed the R-Pant, the low-rise briefs and trunks are designed to be worn under skinny jeans and trousers, a look popularised by the likes of Russell Brand and Mark Ronson, two celebrities the chain cites as design influences.

I’m pretty sure it’s not a hoax.

Kiowa Gordon, Nikki Reed and Bella’s Stuff

Yum. Kiowa Gordon is gorgeous and seems to have his head on straight. He recently told Deseret News “I owe my entire career, at least to this point, to ‘Twilight,’ and I’m very grateful for that.” Click here to read the entire interview.

Nikki Reed just launched her official website – iamnikkireed.com. It includes career news and her own blog with photos.

As usual, the Twilight Saga costume designers chose some stuff for Bella that lots of fans are interested in getting for themselves. This jacket is on clearance at Aritzia for $69. And the sunglasses are vintage, but Entertainment Weekly found these new ones that are very similar:

More Teen Choice Nominations, a Real Eclipse and Ice Fangs

A few more Teen Choice Awards nominations were announced including:

Summer: Movie Star – Male – Taylor Lautner
Summer: Move Star – Female – Kristen Stewart

You can vote once a day and the awards are on August 9th.

There was a real solar eclipse this past Sunday which was well viewed from Easter Island. Pretty cool photo, huh?

Nordstrom and Eclipse

With the launch of their Eclipse clothing line, Nordstrom is doing a ton of Eclipse promotions. All stores will be hosting Twilight parties on June 19th and June 20th. Besides the clothes, there are life-sized cardboard cutouts of Edward, Bella, Jacob and Alice. They’ll also be selling the Luna Twilight cosmetics.

There will be Twilight cast appearances in the Brass Plum section of the following Nordstrom department stores. First you need to go on Saturday, June 19th at 8am to get VIP access to take photographs with the cast members. Click here for more information. Here’s a list of the actually appearances:
